Looking for a new car? Let us check it over for you with a Pre purchase inspection, so that you know exactly what you're buying, and avoid getting stuck with a lemon.

Our experienced mechanic will perform a comprehensive mechanical inspection, and generate a report outlining any faults, or potential future problems you may run into. 

Along with this report, We will also run a stolen vehicle check, Finance owing check, and a stat write off check. So that you can be confident in your purchase.

We understand that some people travel quite the distance for the right car, and that buyers and sellers are often only available on weekends. 

We can also carry out Pre purchase inspections without the need for you to be present. And on weekends at a small extra fee, see prices below.

• A thorough Mechanical Inspection, Both in the engine bay and underneath the vehicle. 
• Road test - The car is tested for abnormalities in operating conditions while driving.
• Ecu diagnostics scan - We scan for both current and stored codes on the vehicle computer, as well as additional modules which hold this capability.
• General function test - A check to see if all interior components function as they should. E.G. Ac, power windows, radio, switches, door lock mechanism and much more.
• Stolen vehicle check - The car is checked against the database of vehicles reported as stolen.
• Written of vehicle check - The car is checked against recorded history of written off vehicles.
• Finance owing check - Check if there is secured interest against the vehicle.
• Tampering check - While it's a rare occurrence that a vehicle has been tampered with, and most sales are genuine. We check to see if there are any signs of masking, or covering up problems with the vehicle. Some of which include; Oil leaks being de-greased right before inspection. Ecu codes recently being cleared. Additives added to the coolant to mask a blown head gasket. We have tricks up our sleeves to detect these things and prevent any nasty surprises down the road.
• A full findings report - All findings are explained in layman's terms.
• High quality photos - If the vehicle is being purchased sight unseen, and you would like photos. Let us know and we can include high definition photos with our report.
• We also allow a generous amount of time to guide you through any of the findings. Either in person or over the phone.
